Day 4

This year's home improvement project...

As some of you may know, last year our home improvement project was enclosing the back porch in order to make a new computer/play room. We need the extra room since Collin was on the way. That left us with no "outdoor living" area not to mention that the backyard has been taken over by weeds. So this year's project is having the backyard worked on. We are having a stone patio installed, sprinkler system installed and new sod laid. Here are some of the before pictures and some pictures from Day one of the work. I will post more pictures as the week progresses.

Collin's New Trick

Collin has started pulling himself up and standing for short periods of time. Here are a few shots of him in action.

Snow in Middle Georgia

It snowed this morning. Not sleet or ice. Actual snow. Some even stuck to the ground. Now in most places this is probably not a big deal. It certainly was not an impressive amount compared to other places I've lived. But yesterday it was 70 degrees here. Yes you read that right...70 degrees. I wore short sleeves yesterday and today it snowed. Here are a couple of pictures.

Disney 2009

For winter break we decided to take the kids to Disney World again. Well actually we gave them the choice and they wanted to go to Disney again. The weather was good for the most part but the parks were packed. Our economy is suppose to be "so bad" but you wouldn't have been able to tell by all the people that were in Orlando. Despite the crowds we had a blast. We went to all the parks but spent most of our time at the Magic Kingdom. Here are some of the pictures from our trip.
